TEEN NOTES

Teen Notes thanks Paige for submitting a great poem!

DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER

why am i treated different
because I'm in pain
well news flash NO ONE's ever the SAME

we all have something wrong
whether you admit it or not
and we all battle the fight that needs to be fought

why do we label
it hurts and is wrong
but sometimes it makes us really strong

save your labels for soup cans
don't judge a book by it cover
get to know someone first then maybe another

learn not to be cruel
but to keep your mind open wide
then maybe hope and kindness will jump on inside

i hope this poem helped you to learn
that labels are wrong
and so is judging a book by its cover
and remember keep your mind open wide so kindness and hope can jump inside
